Drawing a trophy

Learn how to draw this simple trophy and surprise a special person in your life!

Anyone can draw!

In this step-by-step plan, we show you how to draw this simple trophy. Try drawing this for your mom, dad or another special person in your life to thank and honour them. Perfect for Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthdays or teacher days!

What you need

  • Bruynzeel Expression graphite pencil in HB
  • Bruynzeel Kids Superpoint felt tip markers in yellow, brown, black and white
  • White paper

Start with a light sketch.

Step 1

Draw a cup with the HB graphite pencil but leave the bottom open. Draw the foot of the trophy by drawing two short lines downwards at the bottom of the cup. Then draw an open box underneath. Connect the vertical stripes of the cup to the box and the shape of your trophy will appear! Make the handles of the trophy. Because the two lines next to each other follow the same direction, it really looks like a handle.

Add the text.

Step 2

Draw #1 on the trophy and write mom or dad underneath. You can of course also choose a name or different title, it all depends on who you want to give this drawing to!

Time to add some colour!

Step 3

Colour the trophy with the yellow felt tip except for the letters and the foot.
Make the letters brown and the foot black.

Advanced tip: use the white felt tip to apply white smudges to the right side of the trophy for a shiny effect. Great job, you finished your trophy!
