Live art in action at the fair: Meet the masters behind the creative art

Hilde Biederman

Hilde Biederman of Studio Hildahlia combines her love of nature with marketing expertise to create unique art. She demonstrates using the Procreate palette of 102 Amsterdam colors to plan acrylic works and seamlessly blend digital and analog techniques.

Patrizia Isabella Widritzki

Patrizia Isabella Widritzki, known as PAT, is a talented illustrator and designer.

Live drawing: Get your portrait drawn by Patrizia at the booth — Friday to Sunday! Her illustrations pop with bold color fields and rich textures, creating a striking contrast to the delicate elegance of her line work.

Ramiro Clemente

Ramiro Clemente, a mixed media artist from Barcelona, will demonstrate how to use different products from several of our brands. These will include Talens Indian
Ink, Van Gogh Soft & Oil Pastels, Watercolour and Acrylic Paint, Bruynzeel Design Pencils and different kind of papers. Ramiro shows the essence of free experimentation, trusting the process and the beauty of using techniques to make your vision come to life. 

Martine Boere

Martine is passionate about colour, lettering, and experimenting, especially with her favourite material: Ecoline. She shared her love for these topics through books, workshops and creative retreats in Limburg and France. At the Frankfurt fair, she will demonstrate the magic of Ecoline, including exciting effects from mixing its bright watercolours with pigmented white and gold. Get ready for mesmerising, shimmering illustrations!

Justyna Pennards

Artist painting the force of life in plants and trees. Visions of Paradise" celebrates our planet's beauty and resilience through intricate studies of nature. Inspired by travel, art history, and literature, her bold expressions reflect life's fragility and strength. With international exhibitions in the U.S., U.K., Netherlands, Poland, and Germany, including Museum Kunstpalast. Justyna also teaches and collaborates on artist materials development.

Katja van Strijk

Katja van Strijk, born in Switzerland in 1973, is an artist, art educator, and Art Ambassador Manager at Royal Talens. She travels globally, offering workshops and courses, now also available online. Known for her warm and inspiring personality, Katja's workshops connect her with passionate painters worldwide, from amateurs to professionals.

Francine Oonk

Francine, an Art Material Advisor at Royal Talens and artist, helps develop artist materials while drawing inspiration from everyday life. With a design and museum background, she combines expertise and creativity. At Creativeworld, she’ll demonstrate professional techniques with Bruynzeel, Sakura Microns, and Ecoline products.

Digital or Analog: Bringing Your Illustration to Life with the Amsterdam Color Palette
In this workshop, illustrator Hilde Biedermann from Studio Hildahlia will demonstrate how to use the digital Procreate color palette of the Amsterdam series to efficiently plan and prepare analog acrylic artworks. Experience how easy it is to work with the 102 colors of the Amsterdam Standard Series on the iPad, bringing your creative ideas to life. Finally, the sketches will be transferred to paper using Amsterdam products – the perfect way to bridge the gap between the analog and digital worlds. After the workshop, Hilde will demonstrate Procreate at our booth as well!

Sizzix Studio & Royal Talens Mixed Media Workshop on Sunday at 12:00


Incorporate innovative creative tools from Sizzix Studio that pair perfectly with the paints and mediums from Royal Talens to create your own unique mixed media piece on a journal cover. This class will share how to create professional looking layered art regardless of experience or skill set using a system that completely eliminates the fear of putting paint to paper.

The new factory of Royal Talens

In July 2025, Royal Talens will move to a new location in Apeldoorn. This step marks an expansion of our operations, with a focus on innovation and sustainability. We build according to the BREEAM standard. We are excited about this development and would like to share our new factory with you.  

During the trade fair, we will present our model, allowing us to proudly show you how our high quality products are manufactured and distributed worldwide.
