Can you create an intricate design with fabric dye? Fabric dye is known for easily flowing into other colours to create a beautiful blend, like in tie-dye, but what if you want to create a design instead of just dyeing the fabric different colours?
In this video, we show you how to create a design using a stencil, Talens Art Creation Textile Silk dye and Gutta Silk liners on silk fabric. The Gutta Silk liners make sure the colours do not flow into each other where you apply them. These products were made for silk and other thin fabrics.

About Talens Art Creation Gutta Silk & Textile Silk
Gutta Silk is a relief liner specially for creating 3D lines on silk and, once dry, protects the colours from flowing into one another. The relief liner is available in 3 colours and 1 Gutta Silk masking fluid. The masking fluid is applied before the Textile Silk is used, thereby repelling the paint on areas where it is applied and can be washed off with water. The coloured relief liner, once dry, can be fixated by ironing.
