Royal Talens offers a wide range of high-quality cotton canvases available in various sizes. These premium-quality canvases are made in Europe with sturdy FSC-certified wood and are universally prepared for use with (water mixable) oil and acrylic paint.
Rayon fibre is made from cellulose and is much less susceptible to moisture than cotton. The fabric is therefore less likely to suffer from drooping than a pure cotton fabric.
Cotton is more sensitive to moisture and may loosen more quickly. After drying, the fabric will naturally tighten up again. Linen is also more durable and stronger than cotton.
