Ox-ear hair is a strong and durable soft hair type that is suitable for all types of paint, particularly if you don't want to see a brush stroke or if you use the paint thinned. As ox-ear hair can absorb a great deal of thin paint, these brushes are also suitable for watercolour and gouache.
