Tonal value study of a statue

In our previous exercise, we simplified an apple into nine tonal values. In this third lesson, we will focus on identifying key tonal values within a more complex image that features a broader range of tones.

We will guide you through the process of painting a reference photo, where you will discover and apply the tonal values yourself. You can use the sample image provided for download, or feel free to choose your own!
